A: liquid sky was founded in 1986 in São Paulo, Brazil
by Claudia Rey and Carlos Soul Slinger.
obviously inspired by the infamous Liquid Sky
and permanently contaminated by its energy.
from the very beginning, liquid sky was never “just music” or “just art”.
it combined art, music, fashion, lifestyle, nightlife, events, make-up,
dj culture, music production, remixing, experimental film
and sci-fi poetry.
all of it rooted in dada,
later mutating into something we call futuristic dada. #dada27
ecological and environmental activism was never an add-on.
it was always part of the core.
Ingmar aka Dr Walker joined the liquid sky family in the early 90s.
for many of us, liquid sky has been an elemental part of our lives
for more than half of our lifetime.
